Easy Japanese phrases and gramma

I though I'd share some easy (for me) Japanese gramma tips and phrases, that are good to know if you go to Japan. Japanese gramma doesn't look much like English gramma, and they use a completely different system, where they among other things have the so called particles (syllables, that decide which part a certain word takes in the sentence). か、ね、は are particles.
Remember NOT to say the "u" in "desu" and "masu" - just say "des" and "mas". Here we go...

こんにちは
konnichiwa:  Hello

すみません。
sumimasen:  I'm sorry, thank you (and I'm sorry for the trouble), excuse me

お元気ですか?元気?
o genki desu ka? / genki?:  How are you
(the first is used when you talk to superiors or strangers, while the last one is used when you talk to friends)

もしもし。
moshimoshi:  Hello (on the phone)

これは〜ですね。
kore wa ... desu ne:  This is..., huh.
(here, you can use adjectives like おいしい (oishii)、たいへん (taihen)、いい (ii)、かわいい (kawaii) ect.)

はい / いいえ
hai / iie:  Yes / no

おはよう(ございます)
ohayoo gozaimasu:  Good morning

こんばんは
konbanwa:  Good evening

〜は〜ですか。
... wa ... desu ka?
(at the second ... you can insert だれ (dare = who),どこ (doko = where), いつ (itsu = when) ect. and in that way you can ask about things)
ex. アリスだれですか。Who is Alice?

たつけて(ください)
tatsukete kudasai:  Help, please

いただきます。
itadakimasu:  Lit. means I recieve (let's eat)
(when you're in Japan, you should put your hands together and say this before you eat)

さよなら
sayonara:  Bye

またね
matane:  See you!
(if you say it like this, it is to friends)
